ABATON JetJourneys was founded with the idea of creating a more personal way to experience Europe. Behind every journey is a personal selection of places, hotels, people and experiences that reflect the region itself.
The Founder
Isabell Buchner
Founder & Private Pilot
ABATON was founded by Isabell Buchner. Her connection to travel combines two worlds that have accompanied her for many years: aviation and European hospitality.
As a private pilot, she has experienced first hand how aviation can change the way regions are connected. Through her family's long-standing business relationship with hotels across Europe, hospitality and the people behind exceptional hotels have also been part of her personal background.
These two perspectives became the foundation for ABATON JetJourneys. Isabell develops the journeys personally and accompanies every departure herself. She remains the familiar face throughout the journey and works closely with the aviation partners, hotels, chauffeurs and local hosts involved along the route.
Every journey is personally hosted by the founder who created it.

ABATON develops only a small number of jet journeys each year.
Each route is created personally and assembled step by step from selected regions, hotels, local partners and experiences. The founder accompanies every journey herself.
The reservation begins personally too. This leaves ample room for questions, individual wishes and direct contact well before the journey.
The small structure is a deliberate part of ABATON and makes it possible to develop and accompany every journey with the same care.
The people behind the places
A region comes alive through its people.
Many of the impressions that stay with you from a journey come from the people on the ground.

The name
ABATON
The name ABATON comes from ancient Greek and referred to a special place with restricted access, open only to a limited circle.
For us, the name represents personal access, authentic insights and meaningful encounters that allow a destination to be experienced in a more individual way.
ABATON brings this idea together with travelling in a small circle and discovering places, people and regional culture in a personal and genuine way.
